A Place for Catholics and Christians Struggling with Homosexuality

I’m just a Catholic guy, who is a sinner who has made mistakes. I understand and trust the Church’s teaching on homosexuality. I also understand the deep fear, loneliness, anger, and resentment that my homosexuality inflicts upon my being. I understand that I did not choose to be gay. I also accept personal responsibility for each and every action I perform.

This is a battle that is waged daily and hourly in my heart and my soul. It really takes its toll on me especially since I am alone in the battle, or so it seems. I wanted to create this place to share my struggles and to share encouragement, to hopefully build a community of brothers and sisters who share the same cross that I do so that together we may work as one to walk the difficult road to communion with God that Jesus has laid before us. I welcome all of our advocates to come here and encourage us, but my main intent is to really have a place for people who truly understand the reality of the burden we bear.

In order to preserve free access to discussion and conversation, comments will always be open, however, they will be strictly moderated and any intolerance shown towards those who desire to be chaste, or bashing of Christianity will be deleted and banned from the site.

What courage you have in speaking here! Your views are not popular among the Church or the LGBTQ community… I commend and encourage you. Also, if you don’t mind I would like to understand some of your views and would like to ask some questions, but I don’t want to offend and so I will ask about your comfort first. – Do feel free to ask any questions of me if it would be better!

In any case, much light and love to you in the new year!!
